First Crocodile Leg!

I’m not certain if the Chinatown of San Francisco is the biggest in the world, but I can tell you that at least it is the most ‘Chinese’ one I ever came across. They don’t speak English, there are hardly any non-Chinese, they only accept cash and food & safety regulations don’t seem to count there. You can buy the weirdest things there including frogs (which are like 10cm big), turtles (25cm long), all kind of fish you never saw and… crocodile legs.

Thought it was about time to check out the crocodile legs. Costs about $12, which is pretty high for Chinese standards. Means it’s probably a delicatessen or at least something rare. It smells like some kind of fish. Don’t know yet how I’m going to prepare it but I’m sure Google has an answer!

Wow, I didn’t even know those existed. Fun blog! I’ve liked it through my blog and am leaving a comment to generate “engagement.” I also followed you on Twitter, so we’re now connected in the blogosphere and e-conversation 😉 Safe travels!
